Baptism is a public act of faith and obedience that identifies the believer with Jesus Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.
Romans 6:4, KJV
“Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
Why Be Baptized?
Baptism does not replace faith in Jesus Christ. It is the believer’s obedient response to the gospel and a visible testimony of new life in Christ.
